Crafter of the Month

Sally McIntyre along with her husband Rob started their scrapbooking, card making and invitation business to complement their photographic business around 13 years ago in the beautiful Hervey Bay, just across the water from the famous Fraser Island in Queensland Australia. Theyoffer daily scrapbooking and card making workshops, and always a friendly face.

Sally has used Abis Craft Tea Time Papers - Tea time and Cups and Saucers, along with our adhesive rhinestone to create this lovely project. We at Abis Craft just love the nostalgic feel of this piece.

The delightful couple in the photos is Sally’s maternal Grandmother and Grandfather, Charlotte Mary and William Harold Warren, who lived in Surrey Hills in Melbourne, Victoria along with Sally’s mother, their daughter, Lorna Orbost.

Featured Crafter: Carolann Kemp

Our first Featured Crafter is Carolann Kemp from New Zealand. Carolann’s craft store named Caz Dezign Scrapbooking, has been in operation since 2001. It is primarily an internet based business with a small studio on Auckland’s north shore.

Caz Dezign Scrapbooking offers Crop Nights, Weekend Workshops and Scrapbooking Retreats. The retreats are held in Auckland and run from Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon.

The Abi’s Craft team loved one of Carolann’s designs in particular, this thought provoking project including a photo of a happy little girl.

Abi’s Craft have been working through the fabulous entries for our April Adventures Challenge.. what a talented and clever bunch of crafters!

It was difficult to choose from such individual ideas and designs. We asked for the most wacky, unusual and quirky designs to be in the running to share in $500 worth of prizes.

Our WINNER is Linda from the UK. Linda’s extremely unique and wacky piece caught our attention instantly! You can see her gorgeous work in Photo 2.
